Disruption is everywhere in the global economy and the impact of the Pandemic has accelerated many of the changes caused by this disruption. Opening the seminar will be Brian Kalms, managing director of AlixPartners London. Brian will explore the key macro disruption trends, how they impact on the consumer and how this is showing up in the hotel industry.
We are delighted that Kate Nicholls OBE, chief executive of UKHospitality, will then present her version of the ‘State of the Union’ insofar as it impacts the hospitality sector and specifically her vision of the future in a post-Pandemic world.
Karen Friebe, head of the hotels, hospitality and leisure team at Bird & Bird will then moderate a panel of experts including Eric Jafari, chief development officer at edyn, David Kellett, senior director - hotel transactions at Invesco, Russell Kett, chairman of HVS and Faraz Nagree, founder of the Lean Kitchen Network and Future Food Brands.
